The gallery presents "Capturing Cathay",  a provocative exhibition of photographic work by internationally acclaimed artists Yao Lu and Qin Wen visually expressing the customary culture and localized lifestyles in China that are being swallowed by global pop culture and social relationships.  A lack of environmental awareness due to an ever-expanding consumer culture resulting in an erosion of all traditional forms of China.  Both artists have exhibited extensively overseas and Yao Lu, a graduate of the Central Academy of Art in Beijing, was the winner of the 2008 BMW-Paris Photo Prize for photography, with his work being exhibited at Art Basel in 2010.  Qin Wen's work was exhibited in this year's Los Angeles Art Show.  He first began working in photography in 1971.
