1957

Born in Chongqing, China

Studied at the Oil Painting Department of the Sichuan Academy of Arts

1980

The monumental painting, Father and Son was selected for the exhibition of Sichuan Young Artists Works

1981

The painting Father and Son won 3rd Prize at the Second China Artist Expo

1984

The painting Village Inn won the outstanding award at the 6th National Art Expo

1986

The painting Final Battle was selected for the China Sport Art Exhibition which was co-presented by the Chinese Olympic Committee and the National Artist Association

1987

Three of the artist’s paintings received international acclaim: A Fire Blowing Child won the outstanding award at the Sichuan Oil Painting Exhibition, Morning was selected to be exhibited at the Contemporary Chinese Oil Painting Exhibition in Beijing, and Breakfast was shown at a major exhibition in the United States which was co-presented by the China Artist Association and GHK Co., Inc. of the U.S.A.

1994

The painting Songs From the Field won the outstanding award at the China Art Expo

1995

Solo exhibition at Galerie du Monde, Hong Kong

1997

The painting Lantern Festival shown at the Images of Women IV exhibition at Schoeni Art Gallery, Hong Kong

1998

The paintings Mid-Autumn Festival and Festival of the First Full Moon shown at the Berlin Art Exhibition in Germany

1999

The paintings Song From Beyond the Window, New Year and Red Lanterns shown at the Images of Women V exhibition at Schoeni Art Gallery, Hong Kong

2000

Participated in the exhibition Images of Women VI at Schoeni Art Gallery, Hong Kong

The painting Sunbeam was shown at the Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts – Biennial Exhibition

2001

The painting Sacred Bird was exhibited at the Singapore Art Exhibition

2002

The painting Paradise was exhibited in the joint exhibition of China Contemporary Artists Exhibition at Schoeni Art Gallery, Beijing, China

The paintings Flower Season, Night Costume, Breezy Courtyard were shown in the Images of Women exhibition in Bangkok, Thailand

The painting Dragon Boat was shown in the group exhibition of 30 artists at Schoeni Art Gallery, Hong Kong
