At the age of 9, she began studying calligraphy under the tutelage of her father
At the age of 13, her work was being exhibited throughout China and Japan and regularly presented to foreign governments and institutes as official gifts from the Chinese Government |

Exhibitions of her paintings were held in Tokyo and Nagano, Japan |

Gave a demonstration of her technique at the University of Arizona and was interviewed by the Los Angeles Times and CBS News
