Born in Fushun City, Liaoning Province. China
Graduated from Fushun Pedagogical College of Art and then enrolled in a research class at the Guangzhou College of Art for advanced study. He is now an artist of the Liaoning Artists Society and a professional painter.

The artist has exhibited his paintings in many exhibitions in China and abroad in recent years.  His paintings were exhibited at the Sixth and Seventh China International Art Fairs, the Shanghai International Art Fair and the 2001 China International Art Fair, in which the painting Sax received the award of Excellence.

He has also taken part in exhibitions held in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and Australia and has won many prizes.
